Privacy Policy

Divot Depot is a golf gear comparison site. We keep data collection to the minimum we need to run it and understand which guides help people.

What we collect

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and links get used. It records things like the pages you view, the links you click (including clicks on retailer links), your device and browser type, and your approximate location (city level). It uses cookies to do this. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not combine it with other data about you.

Messages. If you email us or use the contact page, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.

Affiliate links

Some links go to retailers such as Amazon and Global Golf. We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, and we earn from qualifying purchases. When you click an affiliate link, the retailer may set its own cookies to credit the sale to us. Their use of that data is covered by their own privacy policies.

Our shop

Orders placed in the Divot Depot shop are processed by Shopify. Shopify handles your payment and shipping details under its own privacy policy, and we use that information only to fulfil and support your order.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't run ad networks on this site.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. To ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted, reach us through the contact page.
