The short answer: a magnetic golf towel has a magnet sewn into it, so you can stick it to anything steel (a cart frame, a steel iron head) instead of digging for a clip. Pick the size by how you play: a compact 16 × 24 towel for carry and push-cart bags, a full-size 16 × 40 for cart bags and wet rounds. The one thing to check first: magnets only stick to steel, not aluminum, carbon or plastic.

How a Magnetic Golf Towel Works
Aiming Fluid’s Magna-Anchor towels have the magnet sewn in under a round silicone patch, so it can’t fall off or get lost in the wash. You stick the towel to a steel surface between shots, wipe the club, and stick it back. Every towel we carry also has a sewn loop and a carabiner, so it still works the old-fashioned way if there’s nothing steel nearby.
Most of them have three cleaning zones: a white scrub pad for packed-in grooves, a wash pocket you can dampen for the clubhead or ball, and dry waffle microfiber (400 GSM on the towels where Aiming Fluid lists it) for the final wipe.
Where It Sticks (and Where It Doesn’t)
- Sticks: steel cart frames and roof supports, steel iron and wedge heads, and steel bag hardware.
- Doesn’t stick: aluminum push-cart frames, graphite shafts, carbon or plastic bag parts.
- No steel on your bag? That’s what the Landing Pad is for: a steel-core dock that slides over the bag lip so the towel always has a home. It comes with The 40 + Landing Pad set below.

View in Our StoreDo magnetic golf towels stick to golf clubs?
To steel iron and wedge heads, yes. They won’t stick to graphite shafts, and most driver and fairway heads are titanium or carbon, so plan on the cart frame, a steel club or a Landing Pad.
Will a magnetic towel stick to my push cart?
Only if the frame is steel. Many push carts are aluminum, which magnets don’t grab. Use the carabiner or add a Landing Pad.
What size golf towel should I get?
16 × 24 is the everyday size for carry and push-cart bags. 16 × 40 gives you more drying area for cart bags and wet days.
