The short answer: both are TaylorMade’s 10K-MOI drivers, so both are about as forgiving as drivers get. The Qi35 Max is the newer one and spins roughly 200–250 rpm less, which usually means a flatter, longer flight for faster swingers. The Qi10 Max is the value play: at Global Golf today it costs about $175 less than a new Qi35 Max. If your drives balloon or spin too much, get the Qi35 Max. If you want the most forgiveness for the money, get the Qi10 Max.

What MOI Means (and Why Both Score 10K)
MOI is how much the head resists twisting when you miss the center. A 10K-MOI driver twists less on heel and toe strikes, so those misses keep more ball speed and stay closer to the fairway. The Qi10 Max was the first TaylorMade driver to reach 10K, and the Qi35 Max kept that number. On forgiveness alone, you won’t feel a big difference between them.
What Changed in the Qi35 Max
TaylorMade moved the weight lower in the head. MyGolfSpy puts the CG about half a millimeter lower and the spin about 200 rpm lower than the Qi10 Max; Golf Monthly’s tester measured a drop of more than 250 rpm on a launch monitor. Golf Monthly also noted the Qi10 Max played about a quarter-inch shorter than the rest of its family, while the Qi35 Max is built to the same length as the other Qi35 heads. The tester called the Qi35 Max one of the best high-MOI drivers he’d hit and said it sounds a little livelier than the Qi10.
Less spin isn’t automatically better. If you swing on the slower side and already struggle to get the ball in the air, the Qi10 Max’s extra spin can help you carry it. If your drives climb and drop short, the Qi35 Max is the fix.
