Callaway Rogue ST Max vs. Paradym: Which Used Driver to Buy?

Callaway Rogue ST Max vs. Paradym: Which Used Driver to Buy?

The short answer: right now a used Callaway Rogue ST Max (2022) starts at $224.99 at Global Golf, only about $10 less than a used Paradym (2023) at $234.99. The Rogue ST Max is the more forgiving, slightly draw-biased head. The Paradym is the newer design, with an all-carbon body and a neutral flight. If you slice the ball, get the Rogue ST Max. If you hit it fairly straight and want the newer head, the $10 for the Paradym is easy to justify.

What MOI Means

MOI is how much the head resists twisting when you miss the center. A higher-MOI head twists less on heel and toe strikes, so those shots keep more ball speed and finish closer to the fairway. GolfWRX’s launch report calls the Rogue ST Max the highest-MOI head in the Rogue ST family.

Callaway Rogue ST Max (2022)

The Rogue ST Max pairs a titanium body with a carbon crown and sole, and adds a tungsten Speed Cartridge of up to 26 grams. Callaway set it up for high launch with a slight draw bias, aimed at the widest range of players. GolfWRX reports it launched at $549.99.

Callaway Paradym (2023)

The Paradym was Callaway’s move to a full 360° carbon chassis: according to GolfWRX, there are no titanium or aluminum reinforcements in the body. The weight saved went into perimeter weighting, paired with a forged titanium face and Face Cup. Callaway describes the flight as high launch, low spin and neutral. It launched at $599.99.
